Harry Styles is speaking out about the meaning behind one of the highly anticiapted tracks on his new album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The 32-year-old “Aperture” singer-songwriter got candid in a new interview and addressed “The Waiting Game,” one of the songs featured on the record, arriving Friday (March 6).

“That was the first song that I wrote once I’d kind of settled in Italy for a while,” he said to Zane Lowe.
“I was like right in that zone of reflection and what we’re talking about of the cycle of like behaving the same way, writing songs about it, getting rewarded for that. So ‘You can romanticize your shortcomings, ignore your agency to stop, write a ballad with the details while skimming off the top,’” he recalls.
“And that was what we had. Had that verse for a while and I think I just liked being that honest with myself about what I was doing and what I was doing with music, and what I was doing with my life and what I was doing with my relationships and what I was doing with cycles that I’d got into.”
“And you try and you always justify playing the waiting game. You try messing with your own design, playing the waiting game and it all adds up to nothing,” Harry reflected.
