Comcast outage impacting Tuscaloosa area; Here’s how you can still watch WBRC


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – A Comcast internet outage affecting thousands of homes in the Tuscaloosa area is preventing some viewers from watching WBRC through their usual service.

According to Comcast’s Business Service Status Center, between 3,500 and 4,000 subscribers in the Tuscaloosa ZIP code are currently impacted by the outage. The cause of the outage is significant storm damage.

Comcast says a service interruption has been detected in the area, but there is currently no estimated time for service to be restored.
