Ukrainian tennis players Oleksandra Oliynykova and Angelina Kalinina advanced to the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Antalya with a prize fund of $115,000.
In the quarterfinals Oliynykova (No. 73 in the world rankings) defeated Spanish opponent Guiomar Maristán Suleta de Reales (171) – 1-6, 6-0, 7-5.
Semifinal Battles and Predictions
The match lasted almost two and a half hours. In the semifinals Oliynykova will face the Japanese No. 3 seed Moya Uchidzima (77).
Kalinina (189) also after 2.5 hours in two sets defeated the world No. 95 Panna Udvardy of Hungary – 7-6(7-3), 7-5.
In the semifinal Angelina will face the winner of the clash between Katarzyna Kawa (Poland, 146) and Tamara Zidanšek (Slovenia, 148).
